Hormonal and holistic health: I have navigated the worlds of functional medicine, supplements and alternative healing strategies to find natural solutions for pain relief and healing of endometriosis. I believe in your business because I have benefitted from coaching programs and products like yours. I intimately know the pain points of navigating the medical system and challenges of day to day functioning with a chronic illness in society.
Mental health: After diving into my own emotional world with 4 years of therapy and a couple online programs, I have come out with healing, insight and an ADHD diagnosis. In my previous job I worked as a peer success social worker, offering independent life skill coaching and informal therapy with people with severe mental illness, and I soon will pursue my master’s in counseling. Quite often, symptoms of hormonal imbalances or chronic illness are co-morbid with symptoms of depression and anxiety, and neuro-divergence like ADHD. For one example, more people with ADHD are likely to experience migraines, as it affects the same parts of the brain.

I spent years in my master’s degree learning how to write persuasively-sermons that would inspire and motivate people to take action. While I enjoyed writing sermons, I was learning what I wanted more than delivering them and organizing a church- was simply to write. I was encouraged by the emphatic words of my professor when reviewing my final 15 + page assignment, “Whatever you end up doing, make sure you write!”
Through my graduate studies I engaged in peacebuilding overseas and practiced the delicate process of building trust with others. Like smart conversion copy, building trust plays “the long game” of relationships, and requires stepping into your client’s shoes, seriously engaging their concerns, and persistently ensuring your words match your actions.
After graduation my interests veered towards mental health, and my own ADHD diagnosis, and I found myself in the nonprofit world, most recently working with adults in the community with serious mental illnesses. Soon an increase of my endometriosis symptoms were making it difficult to sustain demands as a caseworker and productivity culture, and I needed a new solution. When I was little, I originally wanted to be an author, and as an adult, I (eventually!) discovered that copywriting was a way to use my natural skills. Since starting a copywriting business, I have been happily healing my chronic pain naturally due to various businesses like yours. With various lifestyle changes and pursuing a career that not only allows me to heal, but to express my experiences and interests, I can’t wait to partner with you to provide other people- you and your clients- with opportunities to live out who they are in all their complexity, goals and desires!
